“Ano ba ang SOGIE” is the fourth of six episodes of the Consuelo Foundation’s Adolescent Reproductive Health Curriculum. The video breaks down and explains sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression (SOGIE) through the concept of “The Genderbread Person”. It explains how sexual orientation relates to a person’s attraction, gender identity to a person’s internal sense of themselves, and gender expression to how a person wants to express themselves through clothes, behavior, or other means. The video ends with a call to respect each person’s right to their SOGIE.
