Daniel Urquico, 54 is co-founder and President of Child and Family Service, Philippines (CFSPI), a non-government organization based in Baguio City, Cordillera Region, Philippines. He served as first Regional Director and Chief Operating Officer of Consuelo Foundation from 1993 to 1998, where he helped set up the Foundation’s Philippine Branch.  He was Director for Strategic Planning from 1999 to 2002, and subsequently returned to CFSPI in Baguio in 2003. He continues to serve Consuelo Foundation as Senior Adviser.

Daniel Urquico is a entrepreneurial leader and social architect. He is adept at forging strategic alliances and relationships that bring additional resources and solutions to issues and problems. In 1987 he co-founded Child and Family Service, Philippines to address the needs of abused and disadvantaged children in his city. Starting with a minimal contribution, CFSPI is now the largest social development agency in Baguio and runs multi-site, innovative programs.  His integrity, enthusiasm and spirit draws donors and volunteers to join him in his mission of compassion and enlistment. He has dedicated his life to creating safe communities for children and families in especially difficult circumstances, with a preferential option for abused and exploited girls, out of school youth and juveniles in conflict with the law.

He is married to Elaine del Rosario and has three daughters, Rosemarie, Asia and Jasmine.
