The Project H.O.P.E. Blog

On the third week of January 2014, the Board of Directors of Consuelo Zobel Alger Foundation unanimously approved a substantial amount for the implementation of a Typhoon Haiyan Disaster Response Project in the Philippines. Elated and grateful, the members of the management team of the Consuelo Zobel Alger Foundation spontaneously broke into a loud applause in the boardroom.

This disaster response project was named Project H.O.P.E. which stands of Haiyan Operations for Protection and Empowerment. Through the www.projecthopeph.com blog, we intend to chronicle the many developments on the project. This will be a space where people from all over the world can get a glimpse of the journey to recovery by the people living in the numerous towns across the Philippines that Haiayan devastated. More importantly, we wish to share with you stories of hope and perseverance, that it may be an inspiration to you and to the rest of the world.
